What is a HydraFacial treatment?
HydraFacials are a pore-purifying treatment that take the dirt out of your skin, and we can bet they’re loved just as much by your neighbour as they are by celebs. At Allison Jeffery, your local skin clinic in Brighton, we know a thing or two about this type of facial and want to share our passion for its beautifying abilities.
How it works
It might sound obvious, but HydraFacials both cleanse and hydrate your skin, exfoliating away impurities (like dirt and dead skin cells) and using skin-kind serums infused with moisturisers. These serums can be tailored to your skin type – for example, you might want to put a pause on ageing, desire plumper and more nourished skin, or be looking for an antioxidant boost.
We offer two treatments: HydraFacial Express, with 3 steps, and HydraFacial ‘Skin for Life’, with 6 steps. You can find out more here.
What it does
By cleansing, purifying and exfoliating, you’ll likely see the benefits of radiant, moisturised skin. The treatment can also help clear your complexion, and can help with ageing. Our HydraFacial ‘Skin for Life’ treatment also uses a glycolic solution to brighten skin. One of the best bits about the treatment are that results are instant and easy to maintain with regular sessions, plus there’s no downtime following the procedure. Finally, you’ll have access to our 24-hour aftercare for help with questions and concerns post-treatment.
Who can benefit?
Most people will see fantastic improvements to their skin following a HydraFacial treatment, and because you can choose a serum during treatment, you can get a more personalised HydraFacial. Because of its complexion-clearing power, it’s ideal for skin with uneven skin tone and pimples, while its hydrating burst can benefit those with dry skin. Finally, the anti-ageing effects are perfect for mature skin. There are some exceptions though, such as those who are pregnant, so it’s worth getting in touch to find out if and how you’ll benefit ahead of booking in.
When should I book?
We recommend booking in every 4-6 weeks to keep up results, especially because the treatment makes subtle improvements over time. We’ll first see you for a consultation at our skin clinic, where we can get a feel for the results you’re after and assess your skin, and we’ll then book you in for your HydraFacial treatment, which takes as little as 30 minutes to detox and cleanse your skin.
