What are anti-wrinkle injections?
Anti-wrinkle injections, also known as ‘wrinkle-relaxing injections’ are the UK’s most popular wrinkle softening treatment. Anti-wrinkle injections relax the facial muscles responsible for creating lines and wrinkles when they contract. Traditionally used in the upper face to treat frown lines, forehead lines and crows feet around the eyes, the Allison Jeffery Skin Health and Laser Clinic also carry out lower face wrinkle-relaxing procedures which are only performed by a small number of expert clinics.
We only use authentic and regulated anti-wrinkle products which are particularly effective when used alongside other treatments such as Dermal Fillers to achieve an even greater youthful result. Wrinkle-relaxing treatments can also be used for skin maintenance and to alleviate medical conditions such as hyperhidrosis, migraines and headaches.
Aftercare
For at least four hours after treatment
Keep upright. Do not bend excessively
For 12 hours after treatment
Avoid extreme expressions, alcohol and wearing make up
For two days after treatment
Don’t rub or massage treated area
Gently pat skin dry with a soft towel after washing
For two weeks after treatment
Avoid strong sunlight and saunas
Don’t have facials.
