Will the treatment hurt?
We understand that many people worry about how painful treatment might be. At our clinic, we minimise pain to ensure your experience is as comfortable as possible. To reduce any discomfort, we can apply an LMX cream containing a local anaesthetic, which will numb the treatment area.
The aftercare
Side-effects will vary in each person, but it is common to experience some redness and swelling – this is not permanent and will subside. We recommend that you do not rub the treated area or touch it. After the procedure we would also advise that you do not wear makeup, and avoid drinking alcohol and coffee to make sure you do not irritate the affected area. Following your treatment, you will be provided with aftercare instructions and we will answer any questions you may have. Our 24-hour aftercare is also available, should you have any concerns post-treatment.
